Terms and Conditions of Use

Last updated: 1 September 2026

This is a courtesy translation. Equuidi is established in Portugal and the Portuguese version of this document is the binding one; in the event of any discrepancy, the Portuguese text prevails.

1. Identification and purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the equuidi.com website and its associated pages ("Website"), including the company page and the registration-of-interest page aimed at equestrian sector service providers ("Providers LP"), owned and operated by Pipecodes, Lda., a company registered in Portugal with tax identification number 515430617 and registered offices at Edificio NERE, Rua Circular Norte, 7005-841 Évora ("Equuidi", "we").

Equuidi is under construction and in pre-launch. The current purpose of the Website is: (i) to present the Equuidi project to potential service providers, users, investors and partners; and (ii) to allow voluntary, non-binding registration of interest by equestrian sector service providers, with a view to future commercial contact and to the possible creation of a profile once the platform is operational.

Accessing and using the Website implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. Anyone who does not agree with the Terms should refrain from using the Website.

2. Definitions

  • "Platform": the Equuidi digital service which, once launched, will allow equestrian services to be searched for, contacted, booked and paid for between Providers and Users.
  • "Provider": a natural or legal person who provides services related to the equestrian sector and who registers interest in offering those services through the Platform.
  • "User": a person who visits the Website or who, after launch, searches for or engages services through the Platform.
  • "Registration of Interest": the voluntary submission of data through the form available on the Providers LP, with no contractual effect and no commitment to future use of the Platform.
  • "Launch Terms": the commercial incentive in force on the date these Terms are published, applicable to Providers who complete a Registration of Interest before the date of the public launch of the Platform.

3. Registration of interest — nature and effects

Completing the form available on the Providers LP constitutes a non-binding Registration of Interest, which creates no contractual, commercial or exclusivity relationship between the Provider and Equuidi.

The sole purpose of the Registration of Interest is to allow the Equuidi team to contact the Provider in order to present the Platform and, should both parties wish, to begin the profile creation process once the Platform is available.

Submitting the form does not guarantee the activation of a profile, the granting of any commercial terms, or any specific date of contact or launch. Equuidi reserves the right to contact those who register in the order and within the timeframe it considers appropriate.

Anyone may request the deletion of their registration at any time, without having to give a reason, by emailing info@equuidi.com.

4. Launch terms

On the Providers LP, Equuidi advertises a commercial incentive for Providers who complete a Registration of Interest before the public launch of the Platform, consisting of three months with no booking commission or the first ten bookings with no commission, whichever comes first ("Launch Terms").

The Launch Terms are announced for information and commercial purposes and are subject to formal confirmation and express acceptance at the time the Provider profile is activated, on the terms that will appear in the services agreement or in the general conditions of use of the Platform, to be made available before launch.

Equuidi reserves the right to amend, suspend or discontinue the Launch Terms at any time, without prejudice to rights already acquired by Providers who have formally joined on the terms to be defined.

5. Intellectual property

All content available on the Website — including, without limitation, text, brand, logo, design, icons, images and code — is the property of Equuidi.

Reproduction, distribution, transformation or commercial use of any Website content without Equuidi's prior written authorisation is prohibited, with the exception of strictly personal, non-commercial use associated with ordinary browsing.

6. Obligations of the website user

In using the Website, the visitor undertakes to:

  • Provide true, accurate and up-to-date information in the forms made available;
  • Not use the Website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, or in ways that harm the rights of third parties;
  • Not attempt to access systems, data or restricted areas of the Website without authorisation;
  • Not use automated mechanisms (bots, scraping or similar) to collect information from the Website without prior authorisation.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Website is in pre-launch and is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability, freedom from errors or fitness for a particular purpose. Equuidi makes its best efforts to keep the Website accessible and up to date, but does not guarantee the absence of technical interruptions.

At this stage Equuidi is not party to any contractual services relationship between Providers and Users, and does not mediate bookings, payments or commercial communications beyond the scope of the Registration of Interest. Accordingly, it assumes no responsibility for the quality, lawfulness or performance of services that Providers may advertise through other means.

Equuidi is not liable for damage arising from use of the Website that results from causes beyond its control, including network failures, unavailability of third-party technology infrastructure providers, or misuse by the visitor.

8. Links to third-party sites

The Website may contain links to social networks or other sites operated by third parties (notably Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn). Equuidi neither controls nor is responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those sites, and their use is governed by each site's own terms and policies.

9. Personal data protection

The processing of personal data collected through the Website, in particular through the Registration of Interest form, is governed by the Equuidi Privacy Policy, a separate document that complements these Terms and which should be read before any personal data is submitted.

10. Changes to the terms

Equuidi may amend these Terms at any time to reflect legal or operational changes, or changes in how the Website works, in particular on the transition from pre-launch to operational running of the Platform. Amendments take effect from their publication on the Website, with the date of the last update shown.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.

Under the applicable legislation on alternative consumer dispute resolution, consumers may also turn to an alternative consumer dispute resolution body, in particular through the Portuguese electronic complaints portal (www.livroreclamacoes.pt) or the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
